My Approach
Dr. Friedman guides clients through emotional change by shifting their thinking and behaviour patterns. Her clinical approach integrates techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and compassion-focused therapy.
She works from an evidence-based, weight-inclusive approach aligned with the Health at Every Size philosophy. She strives to maintain a practice that is anti-oppressive, 2SLGBTQ+ affirmative, and trauma-informed.
